Hacia la aplicabilidad de la cualidad de la voz en fonética judicial

La cualidad de la voz derivada de ajustes laríngeos a largo plazo se erige como una característica potencialmente individualizadora de los hablantes. Esto la coloca en una situación ventajosa respecto de otros parámetros fonéticos utilizados en lingüística forense. Sin embargo, cualquiera que se enfrente a su análisis tropezará enseguida con una dificultad metodológica derivada de su naturaleza intrínsecamente multidimensional. En ello radica su principal desventaja y la razón fundamental por la que su análisis no siempre se considere en la aproximación tradicional utilizada en la comparación de hablantes con fines de identificación en el contexto de un peritaje. Este trabajo muestra, a partir de un estudio experimental sobre el disimulo de la voz mediante falsete, que es posible trabajar con un conjunto reducido de parámetros laríngeos responsables de la cualidad de la voz y, a la vez, facilitar su interpretación y explicación, algo fundamental en el ámbito pericial de la lingüística forense.
