Focus and Scope

Loquens seeksto promote further advancement and understanding of the most distinguishing feature of human beings: speech. The complex nature of speech means that it can be approached from many different perspectives which go beyond the limits of the often isolated fields commonly imposed by academic research. Loquens aims to tackle the interdisciplinary character of speech analysis by publishing papers that deal with any and all aspects of the speech sciences.

Peer Review Process

After an initial assessment, all articles published in this journal will undergo an exhaustive, double-blind, external peer-review process.

 

Publication Frequency

Loquens is published twice a year.

 

Open Access Policy

Loquens is an open-access journal available under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons License.
There are no processing charges.

 

Anti-plagiarism Policy

Editorial CSIC is a member of Similarity Check, a multi-publisher initiative started by Crossref to screen published and submitted content for originality.

Through Similarity Check, we use the iThenticate software to detect instances of overlapping and similar text in submitted or published manuscripts.

By depositing all of our content in the Similarity Check database we allow other Similarity Check members to screen their submissions against our published articles.
